Shipping & Returns
All Paid orders are usually processed and shipped within the same day.
For COD orders to be processed, a Phone Call Verification would be done within 2 working days and only then the order will be fulfilled. In case We are unable to verify Your Authenticity, the order will be cancelled and You shall be notified accordingly.
We do not ship items on Sunday or Public Holidays, as such; all orders placed post 1 PM on Saturday or day prior to public holiday will only be shipped on the next working day.
Although the standard time for shipping(Deliver) an order is 4-7 days, this may vary due to various factors like the distance and the type of goods involved.
We will not be liable to you in respect of any delay in delivery by the courier companies associated with us. Tailsessentials (www.tailsessentials.com) only agrees to hand over the consignment to the courier company as per the stipulated time(same day or next day) from the date of placing the order. The delay due to various reasons by the courier company, is completely out of our scope, though we will do our best to liaise with the courier company on your behalf.
You cannot make any changes in the order once it has been shipped. It is requested that once you place an order with us, you contact our Customer Service desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or +91 9543 999 777 as soon as possible to make any changes to your order. No changes in the order will be entertained after the goods have been shipped.
You may cancel the order at any time before any item in the order has been shipped. The money that has been transferred to us vis-à-vis the order shall also be refunded. The entire order shall stand cancelled, irrespective of the number of items in the order.
Estimated Delivery Date and Date of Delivery:
Our Letter of Acceptance of your Order shall contain, within it, an estimated Date of Delivery and We shall try to ensure that the goods and services you intended to purchase through your Order shall be delivered to the address You specified, while making the same, by or on the estimated Date of Delivery. However, most of the logistics partners deviate from this estimated Date of Delivery which may occur due to various reasons that may include, but not be limited to, availability of goods or services, your location, your availability and circumstances which are beyond Our control.
Delivery of the Goods: The delivery of the ordered goods of services shall be deemed to have taken place when the ordered goods or services have been brought to the address specified by You for the purpose of the same. The risk of the goods or services remains with Us until they have been delivered to You. Hence, goods or services lost in-transit or after they have been dispatched and before they reach You shall be the responsibility of the Website to indemnify and the same shall be re-dispatched to You.
Return & Exchange Policy
If you change your mind:
Customers can return any product purchased from us within 7 days of the delivered date, provided the ordered items are not tampered with and are in original condition including seal. Kindly contact our customer service at @tailsessentials.com with order number for approval of the return. The shipping costs will have to be borne by the customer in this case and have to be sent to our official address within 72 hours of return approval. Once we receive confirmation that the item has been received by us in the original condition and not tampered with, we will refund the amount. Cancellation of orders that have left our warehouses will incur two way shipping costs at actual, which will have to be paid by the customer. If prepaid, the amount will be adjusted and remaining amount will be refunded.
Product Receipt and Acceptance Confirmation Process
In case the goods are damaged or faulty: The goods shipped out from our warehouse are all 100% damage free and tamper proof, but there could be times when the shipment is not in the same state as it left our doors.
Please ensure that you inspect the shipment as soon as you accept it from the courier. In case of any physical damage to the outer or inner packaging, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting a suitable remark such as "Package Damaged" on the proof of delivery receipt document. "We" retain the right to withhold refund/replacement of the damaged product if you fail to put a note about the nature of damage on the courier receipt confirmation slip.
In case of any damage to the actual product, you are required to inform our customer care within 4 hours of receipt of the product, so that we can take appropriate action.
In case the carton is fine and you find that the product has suffered damage, then please take photographs of both the carton and the product from all sides. This has to be reported to us on the day of delivery.
Please do not use the product on which damage has been observed. If the product is found to have been used, refund shall be withheld.
On confirming that the goods were delivered to you in a damaged condition we shall process returns & refund.
In case you receive the incorrect goods: In an event of incorrect item/goods received, please reach out to us immediately and we will send the right product and arrange for a pick-up of the wrong item delivered, along with a replacement of the same. Please ensure that the incorrect item delivered, is not tampered with and should be in the original state for smooth processing of the replacement.
In case of pet food products: We do not entertain returns for products under the pet food category, open or partially used, unless there is an issue with the quality of the product and is re-called by the manufacturer themselves. As www.barksnlicks.com is not responsible for the consistency of pet food, including odour (smell), colour, taste or other factors related to the production of the food items, these factors would not be grounds for return of opened or partially used food products.
